Justin Fields

Steelers reporter Mark Kaboly reports, “All indications point toward Justin Fields getting his sixth consecutive start Sunday when the Steelers travel to Las Vegas.”

As Kaboly points out, this is not based on any official word from the team. This likely comes from his observations at practice, where Fields is presumably seeing the majority of the work with the first-team offense ahead of Sunday’s game. Russell Wilson, who has been a full-participant in both practices this week, was rumored by ESPN’s Adam Schefter to be “lurking’ around the QB1 job, but Fields might have to do something to lose it before Russ is just handed the reins. It’s possible the Steelers don’t make an official announcement until closer to kick-off.
