The Indy Star’s Joel A. Erickson reports Michael Pittman is dealing with back and calf injuries, but the Colts “don’t believe he’s in danger of missing the Bears game.”

Pittman was surprisingly held out of practice on Friday after not being included on the injury report at all for the previous two sessions. It sounds like his absence from practice was precautionary, but this is a situation fantasy managers will need to monitor. Josh Downs is expected to return from his preseason ankle injury this week. If he suits up and Pittman sits, Downs would likely take over as Anthony Richardson’s primary underneath target.
