As expected, Hopkins was a full participant in practice. Callahan was referring to both his workload in practice and his usage on Sunday. Hopkins entered Week 1 listed as questionable because of a knee injury he suffered during the summer. He played through the issue but only ran a route on 77 percent of Will Levis’s dropbacks and was targeted twice. Hopkins may not be at full strength for Week 2, but he’s getting close and his coach has already acknowledged the need to get him more involved. He will rank as a risky WR3/4 for his upcoming matchup with the Jets.
