Tony Pollard rushed 17 times for 62 yards in a Week 2 loss to the Jets, adding 40 yards on five catches as a receiver.

Pollard looked good rushing against a stout defense. He showed some wiggle in the open field and was not afraid to run over defenders to gain extra yards. He also tied for the team lead in targets with six and with Tyjae Spears leaving the game early with an ankle injury, there’s a good chance that Pollard will be a 20+ touch running back for as long as Spears remains on the sideline. That puts him firmly in the RB2 conversation.
