Tony Pollard rushed 28 times for 128 yards in the Titans’ Week 9 overtime win over the Patriots while adding three catches for 28 yards.

Pollard was unable to practice last week, but it didn’t hurt him. On the contrary. The tailback was easily the most effective offensive player on the field for either team, and while he wasn’t able to find the end zone, he kept several drives alive while finding creases. In a game where he was considered questionable, Pollard out-carried backup Julius Chestnut 28-5. Assuming good health, Pollard will be the bellcow again against the Chargers in Week 10.
