Trey Benson rushed 11 times for 10 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 2 win over the Rams, adding one reception for seven yards.

Benson had an inefficient day running the ball, averaging less than one yard per carry with his longest run of the day being four yards. He is still the clear backup to bell cow James Conner, and got many of his touches in garbage time. Emari Demercado is still a factor, getting two carries for 46 yards. Benson is unlikely to be fantasy relevant with this role, but has value as a handcuff to Conner.
