Trey Lance

Trey Lance

DALQB • #19

Trey Lance completed 4-of-6 passes for 21 yards in the Cowboys’ Week 10 loss the Eagles.

The Cowboys deployed the “Trey Lance Package” late in the third quarter, but the former No. 3 overall pick permanently replaced Cooper Rush in the fourth quarter with the game well out of reach. Lance struggled, to say the least. He took a sack on his first official dropback, and on his second drive of the quarter, he threw an interception to C.J. Gardner-Johnson, giving the Cowboys their fifth turnover on the night. Lance would take another sack on his third and final drive, just for good measure. The Cowboys are 3-6 and already looking at a lost season. While it seems unlikely that Lance would get the start in Week 11 against the Texans, it wouldn’t be surprising if we saw him at some point before the year is up.
