There’s a chance Spears’ DNP on Thursday is due partly to load management rather than him aggravating the hamstring injury that has sidelined him since Week 7. We’ll see what happens with Spears come Friday, but if he’s healthy and able to play in Week 9, he could see a larger role than expected as Tony Pollard (foot) has yet to practice this week.
