Spears was considered week to week after suffering the hamstring injury last Sunday. He did not practice at any point this week and was predictably ruled out on Friday. Spears’ availability for Week 8 is up in the air as well. Tony Pollard will see the bulk of the backfield opportunities in his absence, teeing him up for an RB1 workload versus the Bills. Pollard has at least 19 touches in all but one game this year and should approach that number again on Sunday.
