Tyler Lockett caught 4-of-6 targets for 75 yards in the Seahawks’ Week 5 loss to the Giants.

Though Lockett was fourth on the team in targets, he was the Seahawks’ leading receiver in yards on the day. He was catching targets in the intermediate area and tacking on several yards after the catch to post his second-most yards on the season. Lockett still seems to have a role that is No. 3 on the receiving pecking order, but it is a role that has value when the Seahawks need chunk gains and Metcalf is being taken away on the perimeter. The 32-year-old will have FLEX upside against the 49ers in Week 6.
