Tyler Lockett

Tyler Lockett

SEAWR • #16

Tyler Lockett caught six passes on seven targets for 79 yards in the Seahawks’ Week 1 win over the Broncos.

Lockett was questionable for Week 1 with his thigh injury, but it didn’t seem to be a factor Sunday. He connected with Geno Smith on two back-shoulder connections, and he cemented the win with a third-down connection late in the game with a tremendous one-hand grab. DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba combined for just 58 yards in this contest, and while some of that has to do with the strengths of the Denver secondary, it’s also fair to say that Lockett isn’t going anywhere in this offense. He’ll be a WR3/4 for Week 2 against the Patriots.
