WR Adonai Mitchell caught 2-of-4 targets for 18 yards and one touchdown in the Colts’ preseason game against the Bengals.

Mitchell fell through contact to secure the touchdown on the Colts’ opening drive. PFF’s Nathan Jahnke notes Colts No. 2 WR Alec Pierce lined up as the first-team offense’s second receiver for the first 12 personnel snap but Mitchell remained on-field for the next three 12 personnel snaps. It is a positive development for Mitchell, who could overtake Pierce in-season.
