Xavier Legette caught 6-of-10 targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in a Week 4 loss to the Bengals.

It was a great first half for the rookie, who was the clear number-two target with Adam Thielen sidelined, catching five passes and his first career touchdown. However, the second half was much tougher as Legette dropped at least two passes he absolutely should have had, including one that forced the Panthers to punt. At the end of the day, it was a clear step in the right direction for Legette, who figures to get a lot of usage in the next few weeks; however, he’ll need to become a bit more dependable for Andy Dalton before we feel good about counting on him as anything more than a matchup-dependent FLEX play.
