Xavier Worthy caught 4-of-6 targets for 46 yards in the Chiefs’ Week 12 win against the Panthers, adding one rush for five yards.

Worthy’s long reception was a 19-yard catch in the first half on a well-placed ball from Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes targeted Worthy downfield a couple times to no avail, and the Chiefs set up a red zone target for Worthy that went nowhere. The undersized, underwhelming rookie now has three games with more than three receptions. He profiles as a boom-bust WR4 option for Week 13 against the Raiders, who gave up a touchdown to Worthy in Week 8.
