Mobley has recorded a double-double in five of his last seven games, providing top-20 value in eight-cat formats. During this run, he has averaged 19.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 0.9 steals, 2.3 blocks and 1.0 three-pointers per game. First-year head coach Kenny Atkinson has unlocked Mobley, and the results have been fantastic. He earned his first All-Star Game appearance, and given the names of some players ineligible for postseason honors, Mobley making an All-NBA team wouldn’t be far-fetched.

Tyson was a first-round pick last summer, but he wasn’t able to carve out a role on a talented Cavs team. That isn’t an indictment of his talent since Cleveland finished with the best record in the East. He took advantage of the opportunity to play a significant role in this game and had the best game of his young career. Tyson won’t be a factor for them during the postseason, but he has a bright future in the league.

Thompson has been an elite rebounder for his entire career, but it has been a few years since he played enough to be relevant in fantasy basketball. However, he got the chance in this game and took advantage. His 20 rebounds were the most he has had in a game since 2020 when he grabbed a career-best 22 boards. It was fun to see Thompson play this well, but he won’t see more than a few minutes during the postseason.

Wade is on Cleveland’s lengthy list of absentees for Sunday’s game, which has no bearing on the team’s seeding for next week’s playoffs. Emoni Bates and Luke Travers, who have rarely played this season, should see rotation minutes against the Pacers.

Zubac had his hands full defending Nikola Jokić in Saturday’s series opener. That task did not prevent him from doing his job offensively, with the Clippers’ center shooting 66.7 percent from the field and recording an efficient double-double. Zubac has been one of the most improved players in the NBA this season, and his play on both ends of the floor will be critical in this series. The Clippers and Nuggets meet again in Game 2 on Monday.

Based on the numbers, no opposing center has done a better job defensively on Jokic than the Clippers’ Ivica Zubac. While he made the three-time MVP work in Saturday’s series opener, The Joker still finished one rebound shy of a triple-double while recording a complete stat line. Also, Jokic only committed two turnovers in his 46 minutes on the floor. As has been the case for most of his NBA career, Jokic is going to get his numbers, and he’ll do so efficiently. The Nuggets host Game 2 on Monday.
