Vooch will miss a second straight game, which means Zach Collins (shin) should draw another start. Collins posted a solid 19/5/1/1/1 line across 28 minutes against the Sixers on Monday, and he’s worth streaming again tonight.

Porzingis, Kornet and Al Horford all sat Tuesday. Horford is on track to return to the lineup, but Porzingis could miss both legs of the back-to-back set. Torrey Craig started at center on Wednesday, though he only logged 15 minutes. Neemias Queta saw 20 minutes off the bench and was the better fantasy option. If Porzingis is ultimately ruled out, expect Horford to be the biggest beneficiary, with Queta offering some deeper-league value.

Brown suffered a bone bruise in the second half of Tuesday’s win over Toronto, and he may be forced to sit for the second half of Boston’s back-to-back set. If Hauser is available and Brown isn’t, the former could see some additional run. If both are out, more work could be available for Payton Pritchard and Al Horford.

Poeltl has missed eight straight, but this is a new update for Barnes, who is a late addition to the injury report. Jonathan Mogbo and Chris Boucher should continue to see increased run for as long as Poeltl is out, while Barnes’ absence could free up some more minutes for the likes of Gradey Dick, Ochai Agbaji and Ja’Kobe Walter.

Schroder has averaged 8.2 points and 4.2 dimes across 18.1 minutes in six games with Detroit, so his potential absence won’t cause much of a fuss amongst fantasy hoops enthusiasts. Marcus Sasser may earn some extra playing time.

Fontecchio will miss a second straight game due to a dislocated finger, and his next chance to return will be Friday when the Pistons host the Nuggets. Fontecchio’s absence won’t cause much of an impact in the world of fantasy hoops, as his production has been minimal this season when available.

James had a rather nondescript first three periods of Tuesday’s game, as he appeared intent on allowing Luka Doncic to take over against his former team. But in “winning time,” LeBron flipped a switch. Shooting 7-of-9 from the field in the fourth quarter, scoring 16 points with five rebounds, two assists and one three-pointer. James has scored 25 points or more in four straight games and has provided top-10 value in eight-cat formats since Doncic made his Lakers debut on February 10.

Reaves has now scored 20 points or more in four of his last six games, with three of those performances occurring with Luka Doncic on the court. Since the trade, Reaves has provided third-round value in nine-cat formats, averaging 20 points, four rebounds, six assists, 0.8 steals, one block and 2.5 three-pointers per game. Based on how he’s played, fantasy managers have nothing to worry about regarding Reaves’ value in a lineup that includes Doncic and LeBron James.

Doncic faced the Mavericks for the first time since he was traded in early February. He got off to a good start offensively on Tuesday, racking up nine points, seven rebounds and four assists in the first quarter. The point total may not have been as gaudy as most anticipated, but Doncic did record his first triple-double as a Laker. Luka has provided third-round value in eight-cat formats since the trade but was under a minutes restriction in his first two appearances.

Thompson was relatively quiet during the first three quarters and then heated up during the fourth. He scored 11 of his 22 points in the final frame, but the Mavericks were unable to get over the hump. The 22 points are the most Thompson has scored in a game since February 6, when he dropped 25 on the Celtics. Given how shorthanded the Mavericks are, with Anthony Davis among the absentees, they’ll need more consistent production from Klay. If he can provide that, fantasy managers will also benefit.

Before Tuesday’s game, Mavericks coach Jason Kidd said Powell would be limited to 10-12 minutes in his first game back from a hip injury. He played 16 minutes and replaced Kessler Edwards (four points and three rebounds in 13 minutes) in the lineup to begin the third quarter. Powell did not provide much value outside of rebounds, and that isn’t enough to make him worth streaming while the Mavericks are shorthanded in the frontcourt. However, consistent rotation minutes won’t be an issue for Powell as long as he remains healthy.

Irving was magnificent on Tuesday, and he has now scored 30 points or more in four of his last five outings. Since February 5, the Mavericks guard has been a top-10 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. With Anthony Davis (groin) out, even more of the offensive workload has fallen on Irving’s shoulders. And to the delight of fantasy managers, he’s answered the call. Dallas plays twice more during Week 17, starting with the reeling Hornets on Thursday.

On the other side of Luka Doncic facing his former team for the first time was Christie, a second-round pick of the Lakers in 2022. Overall, he’s played well since being traded to Dallas. However, Christie has scored 12 points on 5-of-18 shooting in his last two appearances. In his first seven games as a Maverick, the third-year guard averaged 17.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.4 three-pointers, shooting 51.9 percent from the field and 84 percent from the foul line. Christie will look to snap out of his mini-slump when the Mavericks host Charlotte on Thursday.

Simpson moved into the starting lineup Tuesday with LaMelo Ball (ankle) out again. The 22-year-old point guard has played at least 30 minutes in three straight games now. Simpson hasn’t been particularly effective in any of those games and Charlotte has lost all three outings. It doesn’t appear that he’s much of a fantasy asset at the moment, but he’s certainly getting a bunch of minutes lately.

The game against the Hornets got out of hand fast and most of the Warriors’ key players played 20 minutes or less. This impacted Hield less than most. He was able to have a good game as he poured in 16 points and four three-pointers in only 20 minutes. Hield’s fantasy value is limited coming off the bench, but he’s a reliable scorer and three-point specialist.

While it wasn’t a huge game for Curry, it was a pretty good effort from the 36-year-old point guard in just 24 minutes in a game that got out of hand early. He seems revitalized since the Warriors’ acquisition of Jimmy Butler prior to the trade deadline. Golden State is rolling with four wins in a row and six wins in their last seven games.

Booker has now scored at least 28 points in three straight games. The 28-year-old point guard also dished out 10 assists on his way to a double-double. It’s just his second game with at least 10 assists in February and the other was also an overtime game. He’s had at least eight assists in five straight games and six of his last seven games as he’s taken on a bigger playmaking role with Bradley Beal replacing Tyus Jones in the starting lineup.

Durant was excellent in a game the Suns probably should’ve won if not for a Ja Morant bucket at the end of regulation that sent the game into overtime. The 36-year-old small forward was just two rebounds and three assists shy of a triple-double. Durant has provided top-10 fantasy value over the past month.

Jackson Jr. was incredibly efficient on the offensive end in this one. He had 28 points on 11-of-13 shooting from the field including a 3-of-3 performance from behind the three-point line. The 25-year-old power forward also contributed on defense with a steal and two blocks. Jackson Jr. was perhaps due for a game like this as he hadn’t had more than 22 points in any of his last six games entering play Tuesday.

Bane played a team-high 43 minutes in the overtime win over the Suns Tuesday. The 26-year-old shooting guard bounced back in a big way after a 2-of-13 performance against the Cavaliers on Sunday. Bane had at least seven assists for the third time in his last four games. He’s provided top-20 fantasy vale over the last two months after a slow start to the season.

Morant came up huge as he drove the lane, hung in the air and drained a shot to tie the game with the clock winding down at the end of regulation. In total, it was a 7-of-25 performance from the field for the 25-year-old point guard, but Morant came through at the foul line sinking all 14 of his free throw attempts. He’s only had at least 10 assists twice in February and is yet to have a 30-point game this month as the Grizzlies seem to get even contributions from their key players, making it difficult for Morant to have massive games with regularity.

Biyombo recorded his second double-double in as many games on Tuesday, with the 12 rebounds being a season-high for the veteran center. While he’s been more productive than any of the Spurs’ other available options with Victor Wembanyama done for the season, Biyombo is on his second 10-day contract. Rostered in 15 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he offers superior streaming value to Sandro Mamukelashvili (two points, one rebound, one assist, one steal and one block in 12 minutes) or Charles Bassey, who did not play due to a knee injury. However, fantasy managers would be better served to look for Jeremy Sochan (12 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 19 minutes; 42 percent rostered) on their waiver wire before adding Biyombo.

Fantasy managers who have Fox rostered will be pleased with the assists and steals, with the six pilfers matching his career-high (living up to the “Swipa” nickname). Unfortunately, efficiency was a problem, as Fox shot 6-of-21 from the field and committed six turnovers. He has averaged 2.8 turnovers per game since making his Spurs debut, so this category has not been a significant issue for Fox. He has provided top-30 value in eight-cat formats as a Spur, not too far removed from his season-long production (top-25).

Vassell’s struggles have been well-documented, with the Spurs guard ranked just inside the top 200 in eight-cat formats over the past month. Not only has the scoring been down (13.8 ppg), but he’s only shot 39.1 percent from the field. Vassell didn’t have a great night shooting the ball, but he finished with 20 points after going five straight with 13 or less. With Victor Wembanyama done for the season, many fantasy managers hoped the injury would catalyze Vassell. Unfortunately, that has not been the case, but Tuesday’s stat line helps.
