C.J. Stroud

C.J. Stroud completed 27-of-40 passes for 345 yards and two touchdowns in Houston’s 24-20 Week 4 win over the Jaguars.

He added 17 rushing yards. After the entire Texans offense took a penalty-enforced hibernation for much of the second half, Stroud came alive and led a nine-play, 69-yard touchdown drive to take a 24-20 lead with 18 seconds left in the game. The Jaguars mostly kept Stroud from targeting them deep, but he completed 12-of-15 passes for 181 yards and a score in the middle of the field. Stroud will be on the QB1 line once again in Week 5, even with a daunting matchup against the Bills.
