Christian Kirk caught 8-of-10 targets for 79 yards in a Week 3 loss to the Bills.

Kirk led the Jaguars in both targets and receiving yards, but a good portion of his damage was done in garbage time, which, in his defense, was basically the entire second half. Kirk is a talented receiver, but the Jaguars are running an offense in which they try to get him open for deep shots down the field when their offensive line can’t hold up for long enough to let that happen. When they started getting Kirk going in the intermediate areas of the field in the second half, they started to see some success, so perhaps that’s a trend that will continue going forward.
