Jaguars HC Doug Pederson said Evan Engram (hamstring) is doubtful to play in Week 4 against the Texans.

Engram hasn’t practiced this week and will presumably miss Friday’s practice as well. The veteran tight end hasn’t played since injuring his hamstring in pre-game warmups before Week 2’s matchup against the Browns. Second-year tight end Brenton Strange has caught five passes for 77 yards and a touchdown over the last two weeks and will be a boom-or-bust dart throw for Week 4 against the Texans.
