James Cook (foot/toe) did not practice on Wednesday.

Cook is a surprise addition to this week’s injury report. We hadn’t received any word of an injury after the Bills’ Week 5 loss to the Texans, so we’ll assume this is minor for now. With the Bills not playing until Monday night, Wednesday doesn’t mark an official practice for the team. We’ll see if things look any different on Thursday’s injury report, which will be their first of the week. If Cook is unable to play, things could lead to a busy day for rookie fourth-rounder Ray Davis. Despite being third amongst Bills running backs in snaps (44), Davis has earned 31 opportunities to Ty Johnson’s 16.
