Allen’s biggest play came late in the fourth quarter when he drew a defensive pass interference on cornerback Benjamin St. Juste to give the Bears the ball on Washington’s one-yard line with less than a minute to go in the game. That DPI set the Bears up for a Roschon Johnson touchdown run two plays later, but the Commanders countered with a 52-yard Hail Mary pass to put the game on ice. Allen’s seven targets led the Bears, but he continues to struggle with his new team. He hasn’t gone for more than 41 yards in a game this season, and shouldn’t be viewed as anything more than a WR3 in Week 9 against the Cardinals.
