Nico Collins

Nico Collins

HOUWR • #12

KPCR2’s Aaron Wilson reports Nico Collins (hip/foot) is expected to play in Week 3 against the Vikings.

Collins popped up on the injury report as a DNP to start the week. It was a surprise addition to the report for Houston’s No. 1 receiver. He played a full four quarters in Houston’s Week 2 win and racked up 135 yards plus a touchdown on 10 targets. Wilson’s almost immediate report saying Collins is expected to play suggests his absence from Wednesday’s practice was maintenance or precautionary. We will learn more from Thursday’s injury report, but fantasy managers should sit tight and plan to have the star receiver in their lineups for Week 3 until further notice.
