Mac Jones

Mac Jones completed 25-of-39 passes for 257 yards with a touchdown in the Jaguars’ 19-14, Week 16 loss to the Raiders.

Jones started the game 4-for-13, but improved considerably over the course of the game against a Raiders’ secondary dealing with injuries. A bulk of the yardage came on a 62-yard touchdown pass to Brian Thomas Jr. when Las Vegas made the bold decision not to cover the rookie wideout. Outside of that, it was a very pedestrian — at best — game for the former first-round pick. He’ll be back under center as the Jaguars try and tank without it being obvious against the Titans in Week 17.
