NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. (ribs) will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of his injury.

Thomas exited in the third quarter after securing a 14-yard touchdown. The explosive rookie wasn’t immediately ruled out of the game but could not take the field after attempting to gather himself on the sidelines. Thomas finished the game with a 3-60-1 line on four targets, but the concern now shifts to Week 9’s contest against the Eagles. Monday’s MRI will reveal the full extent of his injury and whether or not he has any shot at suiting up for the Jaguars, who fell to 2-6 after Sunday’s loss to the Packers.
