Sam LaPorta

Sam LaPorta (ankle) returned to the Lions’ Week 3 game against the Cardinals.

LaPorta suffered the injury at the end of the second quarter. He rode the cart to the locker room ahead of halftime but came back out on the field to start the second half. LaPorta only lasted a handful of plays before limping off the field. The team eventually assigned him the questionable tag but he immediately returned to the game. LaPorta is hobbling to the finish line because of the ankle injury but remains on the field. Brocky Wright will see an uptick in snaps to close out the game.
