Sam LaPorta was carted to the locker room in the second quarter of the Lions’ Week 3 game against the Cardinals.

LaPorta limped off the field after a Detroit touchdown late in the second quarter. He appeared to have his ankle rolled on by an Arizona defender while blocking, though the team has not made an announcement about his injury yet. He was carted to the locker room after making it to the sidelines under his own power. If he can’t return, Brock Wright will be in line to get the bulk of the snaps at tight end in the second half.
