Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Justin Fields is preparing to start Week 4’s game against the Colts.

It is debatable if there is still a job for Russell Wilson (calf) when he gets healthy enough to play, but Wilson’s calf has made it a non-factor. “Very much in the same place with Russ this week as we were last week,” Tomlin said. Fields will be on the QB1/QB2 borderline against the Colts. He ran just six times for six yards against the Chargers last week, but did post his first multiple-score game of the season.
