Underdog’s James Palmer reports that Derek Carr (shoulder) has “no answers” as to his status for 2025.

The Saints had hoped to have clarity as to Carr’s care plan and recovery timeline but questions remain unanswered on both fronts. Both surgery and a non-surgical rehab plan are possible. Per David Carr, Derek believes he suffered the right shoulder injury in Week 14, when Derek also suffered a season-ending left wrist injury. Palmer adds that the “Saints have been aware of the shoulder injury since the day it happened.”
