That includes Antetokounmpo, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury. Kyle Kuzma is the lone starter who will be available, but fantasy managers in active leagues should not expect to see him take on a full workload. Bobby Portis and Chris Livingston are also available, with the former being a tricky fantasy play due to his importance to the Bucks.

Due to injury, he missed 14 of the Spurs’ first 19 games and struggled to get going once wholly healthy. The good news for fantasy managers is that Vassell was far more impactful after the All-Star break, which enabled him to finish as a top-100 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. He’s capable of being much better than that, but Vassell has surpassed 65 games played once in his first five NBA seasons.

Ochai Agbaji and Jamison Battle started Friday’s loss in Dallas and should retain those roles in San Antonio. Barrett has long been a better option in points leagues than category leagues, but he did make some strides in the former this season, providing 12th-round value in eight-cat formats. However, the addition of Brandon Ingram at the trade deadline does not bode well for Barrett’s fantasy prospects in 2025-26. The same can be said for Walter, as injuries limited the first-round pick to 52 appearances as a rookie. While Barrett can be selected with a late-round pick in standard drafts, Walter should be left alone in redraft leagues.

While he finishes the season as a ninth-round player in eight- and nine-cat formats, injuries limited Quickley to 33 appearances this season. With the addition of Brandon Ingram at the trade deadline, Quickley’s scoring opportunities may decrease next season. As for Poeltl, the veteran center was a top-50 player in nine-cat formats and ranked just outside that threshold in eight-cat. While his scoring may take a hit next season, Poeltl does enough as a rebounder and defender to preserve most of his fantasy value. While expected co-stars Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal did not hit 65 games due to injuries, Book made 75 appearances and provided top-25 value in eight-cat formats. Olynyk did not offer much fantasy value until he was traded from Toronto to New Orleans, and he needed Zion Williamson’s absence to do that. At this stage in his career, Olynyk is essentially a “silly season” hero in fantasy basketball, and even that isn’t guaranteed. Due to New Orleans’ depleted frontcourt, Kylor Kelley and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl will play significant minutes.

Missi finished his debut season ranked just inside the top-200 in eight- and nine-cat formats, claiming the starting center job for good in early November.
