Watson had 102 yards and no touchdowns before a meaningless final drive that allowed the Browns to cut the lead to 34-13. It was just another dismal performance from Watson, who averaged 4.5 yards per completion and routinely missed wide-open receivers. When he was forced to leave the pocket, he looked lumbering and didn’t have a run for longer than five yards. He has thrown for 852 yards and five touchdowns in five games this season while throwing three picks and taking 26 sacks. At this point, it’s pretty clear that Watson is bringing down the Browns offense, and it’s hard to recommend starting any skill position players until the team decides to see what Jameis Winston can do under center; however, Kevin Stefanski said after the game that the Browns will not change quarterbacks so we’re all going to have to watch this a little longer.
